1. General Policy
At EICT, we aim to provide clear information about our courses, fees, admission process and services before accepting any payment. By making a payment, the applicant/student acknowledges that they have reviewed the applicable course or service details and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Admission & Registration Fees
Admission, registration, application, counselling and administrative charges may be non-refundable once the admission/registration process has been initiated, unless otherwise specifically stated in writing by EICT.
3. Course Fee Refund
Once a student has been enrolled and the course, study material, training, student registration or related services have been initiated, the paid course fee may generally be non-refundable.
Any exception will be considered on a case-by-case basis according to the applicable course policy.
4. Cancellation Before Course Commencement
If a student requests cancellation before the course has commenced, EICT may consider the refund request after deducting applicable registration, administrative, payment gateway and other non-refundable charges.
Approval of any refund will depend on the applicable course-specific terms.
5. Online Payment
Payments made through an online payment gateway are subject to successful transaction confirmation. In case of a failed or reversed transaction where money has been debited from the customer's account, the amount will normally be handled through the payment gateway/bank's applicable process.
EICT is not responsible for delays caused by banks or third-party payment gateways.
6. Duplicate or Excess Payment
If a payment is accidentally made twice or an excess amount is received, the student/applicant should contact EICT with the transaction details. After verification, the eligible excess amount may be refunded through the appropriate payment method.
7. Examination & Certification Fees
Examination, registration, certification, assessment and other third-party charges may be non-refundable once submitted or processed, particularly where the amount has already been paid to an examination body, certification authority or service provider.
8. Franchise Fees
Franchise application, processing, registration, onboarding or other franchise-related fees will be governed by the applicable franchise terms/agreement.
Payment of a franchise fee does not automatically guarantee approval or allotment of a franchise centre. Any refund, if applicable, will be determined according to the applicable franchise agreement and written terms.

10. Refund Processing
Once a refund request is received, EICT may verify the admission, payment and transaction details before making a decision. Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method or another appropriate method.
The time taken for the amount to appear in the user's bank account may depend on the bank or payment gateway.
11. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds may generally not be available where:
The student has already started the course/training.
Registration or admission services have already been completed.
Study material or other course-related services have been provided.
Examination/registration fees have already been submitted to a third party.
The student voluntarily discontinues the course after commencement.
Incorrect or fraudulent information was provided by the applicant.
The payment relates to a non-refundable service or charge specifically identified at the time of payment.
12. Course Cancellation by EICT
If EICT cancels a course or service before it starts for reasons attributable to EICT, the organization may provide an alternative arrangement or refund the eligible amount, as applicable.
13. Policy Changes
EICT reserves the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The latest version published on the website will apply to applicable transactions.
